Castleford – Single Ply Project
This project consisted of preparing the existing roof area in readiness for the new roof system. Lane Roofing supplied and installed a new 100mm PIR insulation recovery board mechanically fixed through the existing coverings into existing substrate. Followed by a Danosa waterproof membrane 1.5mm thick in colour light grey, which was solvent welded to mechanical discs used on the insulation.
Competent Roofer
As Competent Roofer and by using Lane roofing, we are able to register the roofing works with Local Authority Building Control on any roofing works carried out for our clients, without the need for building control inspections (subject to and special inspection requirements) saving our client’s time and money.
Competent Roofer is the Government-authorised Competent Person Scheme for England and Wales, as we are UK wide registered with all UK LABC offices, Lane Roofing are able to self-certify that the roof refurbishment work complies with Building Regulations. The scheme encompasses all roofing types for domestic, industrial and commercial properties. Many jobs undertaken need to be notified to and authorised by Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and in many cases this includes work done to the roof. By using a Lane Roofing, property owners will save not only time and money but will have the added reassurance that the work carried out meets the exacting standards of the Building Regulations.
Electronic Leak Testing
Upon completion of the roof project, we carry out an electronic leak test to the entire roof carried out by an independent tester.
