I just like to say a big thank to you and your roofing team, especially David Hines in finding all of the lightning conductor points on the East block roof.  David worked continually in the rain to identify all of the lightning conductors on the East block roof. (This was not an easy task). It has been great working with David and yourself.  You have communicated very well during the East block roof resurfacing and regardless of the lightning  conductor issues,  working with the Trust to address the problem.

David has worked a few times at the QE and  every time I feel at easy, knowing I am going to get a good job with little input by myself. David is always  prepared to go the extra mile just like yourself. You are both a credit to Lanes roofing.  I have found Lee to be same mould. I have spoken to Mick and he agrees with my words.

I engaged the services of Lane Roofing to carry out major roof works at our Kings Heath self storage centre.

I met Gary Lane on site to discuss the skinning over the old existing asbestos roof as I believed the possibility of replacing the roof in its entirety, due to the nature of the material and that we were a functioning self-storage comany with the existing customers storing their valuable items below, would not be a possibility.

Gary explained in great detail that actually, stripping the old roof and replacing it with new was very much a possibility and that Lane Roofing had carried out these types of works many times and in much more sensitive industries than ours.

Options and advice were given for the best materials to suit our installation. Pre-works risk assessments and method statements were carried out. This was of a particular concern to us due to the hazard potential of the materials being removed and risk of contamination. It was very reassuring that air sampling and testing was done throughout the works.

All work was complete within the agreed time schedule. The installation team were extremely professional, considerate and carried out the works to a very high standard. The insatallation team were well supported by their own operations management team. Our staff and management formed a very close working relationship with the Lane Roofing team throughout the works. I would not hesitate to recommend Lane Roofing, I very glad we did.

Please can you pass on our thanks to Ben and Nathan for their work yesterday.

They were friendly yet professional, kept us advised of what they were doing, left the roof tidier than when they started and volunteered to replace the stained ceiling tiles.

We would definitely use Lane Roofing again – although I suspect they have now cured the problem!
