Lane Roofing’s unmanned Drones have the ability to fly close to buildings, and into awkward positions where other means of access may not be safe, appropriate or cost effective.

We can provide detailed high definition pictures of buildings and structures where access towers, cherry pickers and scaffold may not be viable. Lane Roofing can offer a quick solution to investigating an area that needs to be inspected. We can liaise with the client on the ground ensuring that all areas of concern are inspected. The client or surveyor is able to see what the camera is looking at via a real time downlink, with more detailed results available once Drone has landed.

Lane Roofing’s unmanned aerial photography Drones allows us to see signs of damage in most high-level areas and therefore provide an accurate quotation for works to be carried out.

Our quick safe unmanned camera Drone provides you with:

  • High Definition evidence of defects
  • Cost effective way to survey your roofs
  • Pre-survey inspections for accurate tenders

  • Safer means to reducing the risk of working at height
  • Reduces the requirement for scaffolding or access equipment at point of survey and inspection
  • Minimal disruption to daily business work flow for site owners

Once we have carried out the Drone survey on your roof areas, we will then compile an extensive photographic and video report, which will enable you to see your roof and any issues identified.

///   TESTIMONIALS   ///

I just like to say a big thank to you and your roofing team, especially David Hines in finding all of the lightning conductor points on the East block roof.  David worked continually in the rain to identify all of the lightning conductors on the East block roof. (This was not an easy task). It has been great working with David and yourself.  You have communicated very well during the East block roof resurfacing and regardless of the lightning  conductor issues,  working with the Trust to address the problem.

David has worked a few times at the QE and  every time I feel at easy, knowing I am going to get a good job with little input by myself. David is always  prepared to go the extra mile just like yourself. You are both a credit to Lanes roofing.  I have found Lee to be same mould. I have spoken to Mick and he agrees with my words.

Patrick Innis,
Project Team Estates Monitoring Officer

I engaged the services of Lane Roofing in 2017 to carry out major roof works at our Kings Heath self storage centre.

I mate Gary Lane on site to discuss the skinny over the old existing asbestos roof as I believed the possibility of replacing the roof in its entirety, due to the nature of the material and that we were a functioning self-storage comany with the existing customers storing their valuable items below, would not be a possibility.

Gary explained in great detail that actually, stripping the old roof and replacing the it with new was very much a possibility and that Lane Roofing had carried out these types of works many times and in much more sensitive industries than ours.

Options and advice were given for the best materials to suit our installation. Pre-works risk assessments and method statements were carried out. This was of a particular concern to us due to the hazard potential of the materials being removed and risk of contamination. It was very reassuring that air sampling and testing was done throughout the works.

All work was complete within the agreed time schedule. The installation team were extremely professional, considerate and carried out the works to a very high standard. The insatallation team were well supported by their own operations management team. Space Station staff and management formed a very close working relationship with the Lane Roofing team throughout the works. I would not hesitate to recommend Lane Roofing, I very glad we did.
